What's Cooking at Brooks' Store

Well let’s see what has been cooking at Brooks Corner. We hope that everyone had a blessed and fulfilling Thanksgiving this year. We are sure It has been more than challenging for some.

Tiffany wants to let everyone know that there is a new shipment of Christmas Candy that just arrived at the store. Coconut bonbons, chocolate cream drops, orange slices, peanut brittle, and much more. So, come on out and pick up a bag for yourself and maybe even a bag for your favorite someone! Also, a brand new shipment of private label R.M. Brooks jams and jellies and sauces have arrived. There are many to choose from for everyone on your holiday list.

Lots still going on in the village, the next two Saturdays Dec. 5th and 12th the Christmas at Rugby will take place. There will be music, food, crafts and decorations. So be sure to come and check out the holiday festivities. It’s from 11 to 7 eastern time both Saturdays. Although activities have been greatly affected in the village everyone keeps their spirits high and we continue to think positive!! We are going to start off 2021 with positive attitudes and hope and encouragement.

Ms. Linda is going all out this year with her holiday decorating so be sure to make reservations to go eat with her and check out what she has come up with this year to brighten everyone’s Christmas season.

On December 19th we are having an Ole Fashion Brooks Christmas with music and complimentary cookies,

hot cider, and hot chocolate so be sure to stop by from 2 to 4. We would love to see everyone and share some holiday cheer.

They are calling for our first snow this week. We don’t know about everyone else but we are not ready for the cold!!

So, we saved the most exciting news for the last, Tiffany’s youngest son Wesley has asked his girlfriend Heidi for her hand in marriage and she said YES!!! So, there will be a wedding sometime in the future.

We know this year has been very trying in a lot of ways, but we all must remember sometimes trying times make us stronger and helps us navigate exactly where our priorities are for each of our lives. So, embrace each day with a positive attitude and know that this to shall pass. 'Til next time, love one another (even those you may not know, or agree with) and Be Blessed. Staying in perfect peace is the greatest commodity one may possess.
