They did get to sneak off last weekend and went camping in Hixon Tn. and got to visit Rock City and Ruby Falls and had a good time, but not gone long enough to come back to get ready for their First Annual Bike Night!!! Which turned out to be a great success , everyone seemed to have a great time and Tiffany said she really appreciated everyone who promoted it, helped and rode their bikes out. There were riders from Knoxville ,Chattanooga, Crossville , Kentucky, and locals right next door. They had a bike blessing in front of the store led by Marty Tucker out of Monticello Ky. Such a great group of riders who showed up Saturday night. Tiffany said to make special mention of Miranda Young of Ghost Riders Expeditions who had a mishap with her drone when she first got there but powered thru the evening to giveaway items and film for her program she is doing on the store. Thank you Miranda we really appreciate you. Moving on to old business, yet new progress, the connector trail for the Sheltowee Trace leading from store into the village is almost complete. Signs are up, benches will go out next, and finish spreading and rolling the gravel. Thank you to everyone who has helped with this project. Kellie, Tiffany's daughter rode her bike on it this past weekend while they were camping and said it was great, now just for the finishing touches. There is an upcoming sign painting workshop coming up in the village so be sure to contact Sue Bell for info on it. It will be lots of fun and takes your mind of the busy of everyday just to fellowship and enjoy friends. No painting experience required. Tiffany reported that Connie Claunch brought a group of ladies from the Northside Baptist church out of Science Hill, Ky to eat the other day for lunch and what a joy it was to have them. They were so much fun, also Mel and Sharon keen out of Burrville Tn met her Aunt to eat with her while they were there. They were excited to know the store was open and served food because they are right down the road. Think they may have already been back for second time already. This coming weekend The Victory  Bluegrass Band and Catfish Cabin will be at the Store on Sunday evening from 4 to 8 eastern time so be sure to come on out and join in the fun. Call Tiffany if you have any questions. The Mountain Laurel Festival held in Wartburg Tn. was a HUGE success ,they estimated there to be close to 5000 people who attended. That is amazing, way to go Morgan County Tourism Alliance!!! Check it out next year if you didn't attend this year, it's the third weekend in May. The upcoming Classic Car Show /Street Fair will be going on in Rugby on June 8th so be sure to check that out and also the same day R.M. Brooks store will be have a community yard sale behind the store, so bring a truck to load up all the treasures you are sure to find in our little town. Lots and lots of activities going on!!! We want to leave you with this scripture to meditate on; Therefore  since we are surrounded by such a great cloud  of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1 Til next time Be Blessed.
